How Loud Is Your Smile? A Smile Story
We see Terry* pretty often, and you always know when she’s around — she’s got a presence! She knows exactly what she needs and doesn’t waste a moment getting it. Because she’s hard of hearing, her voice can be loud — a bit of a human boom box — and for those who don’t know her, it can take some getting used to. But Terry is always willing to listen and adjust when approached with honesty and respect.
Her support provider (not pictured here), Geoffrey*, is her complete opposite — calm, quiet, with a gentle, knowing smile. Together, they balance each other beautifully. Supporting Terry takes patience, but if you take the time to see her, you’ll discover a good heart and a spark that makes her truly one of a kind.

At Bridge, we’re blessed to meet people from all walks of life. Serving them reminds us each day to keep our hearts open and our well of love and patience full.
