Community Activity Bulletin Board
There’s a whole lot going on in the disability community!
We have created this bulletin board as a way of sharing opportunities for our friends in the disability community to come together for social activities and other meetings that may be of interest to them. These are not events or meetings directly connected to or created by Spiritual Connections but rather, they are events and meetings we are happy to share on behalf of those who have planned and will host them.
We are a community of friends and every opportunity to bridge isolation, promote accessibility, and grow relationships is an opportunity Spiritual Connections will gladly support!

Roots & Wings
Roots and Wings meets via Zoom the THIRD THURSDAY of each month. Please check our website event calendar for meeting details.
Roots and Wings is a Bible study group that meets monthly to help persons within the disability community grow in their faith. This study group meets on Zoom on the third Thursday of every month from 10:30am-12pm. The Zoom link is provided by email. Please contact jackiek@bridgemin.org to get the link.
Disability Accommodations: A Power Point presentation is used to assist attendees in reading along during the lesson. And a text-based chat option is also available.

Monthly SEC Celebrations!
Our Monthly Celebrations are by RSVP ONLY.

Our monthly SEC Celebrations are social events held at various community churches once and even twice a month on either a Saturday or Sunday and they are free of charge. As the name implies, they are a time of celebration! We celebrate everyone and their unique abilities. It is a time when we will share a meal together and also play games, sing songs, do crafts, celebrate birthdays, and hear an encouraging word. AND- fun prize giveaways at every event!
Disability Accommodations: Each celebration location is vetted for accessibility for all of our attendees to include ease of drop-off and pick-up if you are arriving on Access. Ease of use regarding the bathrooms and ease of movement for wheelchair users.
