November Employee Spotlight – Zoe Cornell

We are honored to spotlight another of our guardianship staff- Zoe Cornell. The Meyer Medical Equipment Center and Spiritual Connections tend to be front and center when others engage with Bridge but it is the guardianship services that we provide that truly have the greatest impact on those with developmental disabilities. As Zoe states, we advocate for those who cannot advocate for themselves and we do this with the desire and determination to make their lives the best that it can be. And so, here is a little something to know about Zoe in her own words:

“I came to Bridge through a connection and grew to fall in love with the ministry of Guardianship and the work we were doing to advocate for people who couldn’t advocate for themselves.

I have been in the Seattle area my whole life and went to the University of Washington to get my degree in Social Work. I have had experience in various nonprofits working with a variety of people from all walks of life. In my free time, I love to watch documentaries, do Zumba, and explore new places to eat.

I think Guardianship contributes to the mission of Bridge by acknowledging the gifts and strengths of all of our clients and works to help them make decisions that best bring out those attributes.”

Thank you, Zoe, for advocating so faithfully for our clients. May they always experience the love of Jesus through what we do for them and not only what we say.
