October Employee Spotlight – Gaby Tristan
Gaby came to Bridge in 2015 and began work as a bookkeeper. Guardianship ministry inspired her to work for Bridge. She has been especially helpful as a translator for Spanish speakers who come into our medical equipment center needing assistance with medical equipment when the bilingual MMEC staff is not available.
Gaby was born and raised in Mexico and graduated from the Instituto Polotecnico de Mexico with a Bachelor degree in Accounting. She has also studied accounting at the Lake Washington Institute of Technology. She came to the United States in 1999 and became a U.S. Citizen in April 2021- an accomplishment that makes her very happy!
Gaby is very active in her church and loves learning about proper nutrition and how that can make others much healthier. This is a passion of hers and she is building a business that she hopes will help people build success in their own lives.
The Gaby we know has a huge heart for the Spanish community, her church community, and the disability community and she has been instrumental in bringing them together to help one another in so many ways. Her hope and dream for the future is to continue this kind of service as a volunteer when time and finances will allow, and we look forward to that day too!
We celebrate Gaby and are thankful for the many contributions she has made to Bridge not only as our bookkeeper, but also as someone who goes beyond those responsibilities to make life a little better and more meaningful for others.
Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people. Colossians 3:23
