With Love, Taiwan
On May 26th, we held a ceremony to thank the Cao Zhona Zhi Foundation and Pu Hsein Foundation for an incredibly generous donation of 82 wheelchairs, 100 canes, 60 pairs of crutches, and 32 commodes!
Many Washington city government officials – including State Senator Bob Hasegawa, State Representative My-Linh Thai, Vandana Slatter, David Hackney, Deputy Mayor Jared Nieuwenhuis, District Director Glenn Carpenter, and dozens of community leaders, and government officials participated in the ceremony.
TECO’s Director General Daniel Chen said that both Foundations in Taiwan have donated over 700,000 wheelchairs to Africa Latin America, and Middle East countries. This is the first time the donation reaches the States.
Bridge is honored to be their first U.S. donor recipient!
