For the month of March we are honored to share an award-winning photograph taken by Paul Jeganathan*. This photo was taken while he was at a summer camp for disabled persons in Empire, Colorado.

Paul shared that as he was enjoying the natural surroundings of the camp, he came upon some rocks of various colors that “seemed to reflect the color of the wildflowers nearby”. He was not only inspired to take this awesome photo, but it also moved him to sing in worship to the Creator of such beauty.

In May 2025, Paul entered his photograph into the 15th Annual Senior Art Show organized by the City of Kirland and won 2nd Place! Congrats, Paul!!

Paul is a polio survivor. He was paralyzed from head to toe at the age of 4. While in the hospital, he slowly regained the use of his limbs except for the permanent loss of the use of his legs.

Enjoy his contribution to Joyful Voices which is evidence not only of his gifting to take a memorable photograph but how such a scene from nature has been captured for all time. Thank you, Paul.
